RVA Fall Foliage Hot Spots

One of the best things about Fall is getting outside to enjoy the cooler weather and check out the Fall foliage.

According to the Virginia Department of Forestry, the peak of our area's Fall leaf show is between October 15th and Oct 25th.

Here's a guide some of the trees you'll see here in Virginia:
Ash - yellow and maroon
Beech - yellow to orange
Dogwood - scarlet to purple
Hickory - golden bronze
Oak - red, brown, or russet
Poplar - golden yellow
Red Maple - brilliant scarlet

We have some recommendations for some local places where you can see some of the Fall foliage beauty in our area!
