Do you like Southern Food, Music, Beer and Fun?
Grab your rolling pins, dust off the old family cookbooks, and call up your Great Aunt Sally for her secret ingredient list. Saturday, March 24 marks the first ever Southern Food Festival and Amateur Southern Dish Competition!
5 incredible food vendors will each show off their Southern Food Specialties with $3 small plates for you to enjoy while enjoying the festivities.
- Grandpa Eddie’s Alabama Ribs & BBQ with BBQ
- Mean Bird with fried chicken
- Jake’s Place with Brunswick stew
- Mama J’s with fried catfish
- Early Bird Biscuit Co. with biscuits
Winners of the Amateur Southern Dish Competition will be announced and CASH PRIZES awarded at the festival.
Two amazing bands will play live music for a day of dancing and fun.
Then, to top it all off, a special beer release, Bless Your Heart – A Peaches and Cream Ale, will make this a day like no other.
This event will benefit the Ashland VA Rotary Club, who will hold raffles and a huge silent auction for charity. The YMCA will be on site with fun activities for kids.
***As always, this festival is completely FREE to attend, and our outdoor biergarten is pet friendly (for friendly pets on leashes!)***
