Celebrate 12 years of local culinary excellence on Sunday, June 2!
Broad Appétit is the region’s largest food event!
Kroger invites the community to taste signature dishes from more than 70 of Richmond’s finest local restaurants from 11 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The 100-400 blocks of West Broad Street (between Henry and Adams) will serve up outstanding prepared food in addition to fresh Virginia produce, cheeses, herbs, artisan breads and confections straight from local organic farms and specialty food providers.
Admission to this foodie paradise is free, and each restaurant offers small plates of their signature dish, a dessert and/or a healthy option. Each 7-inch plate, or 12-ounce serving, will be $4 and most vendors will offer a combo for $6. These prices are for restaurants/caterers only. Specialty food vendors make their own pricing.
The event also features several of Virginia’s finest craft beers and wine on tap. Beer and wine tickets are $6.
The event will serve up an amazing food selection, as well as a jam-packed music stage sponsored by Taste the Local/Brown Distributing, a chef competition stage featuring the Chef Throw Down in the Street competition, an interactive kid’s area and plenty of farmer’s market and art vendors.
