InLight Richmond is a free, public exhibition of light-based art and performances organized by 1708 Gallery.

The annual exhibition features performances, sculpture, video and interactive projects along pathways, walls, sidewalks and green spaces.

InLight, which was created in 2008, kicks off with the Community Lantern Parade.

The lantern parade will take place at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Make your own lantern and be a part of the parade!

InLight 2018 will take place on Friday, Nov. 16 from 7 p.m. to midnight and Saturday, Nov. 17 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

This year’s exhibition will focus on ideas of community.
