Pastor John Gray became formally installed on as senior pastor of Relentless Church in South Carolina on Sunday.  Many big-name pastors, including, Joel Osteen, and many gospel artists joined him. The more than 3-hour long service featured tributes and words of blessings from Osteen, Kirk Franklin, as well as video messages from Bishop T.D. Jakes, Rich Wilkerson, Brian and Bobby Houston and Pastor Chris Hodges, among others.  Gray took the helm of what was formerly called Redemption Church last month after founder Ron Carpenter transferred leadership to him.

Are you familiar with Obama Day?  Well it unofficially falls on August 4th, the former president’s birthday. Every year more and more Americans are joining in harmony and togetherness as they put political preferences aside to honor our nation’s first black president. Obama Day founder, James E. Ford, says he is dedicated to helping the youth of this nation become successful and dignified just as President Obama demonstrated success, class and dignity as a role model.  President Obama celebrates his 57th birthday on August 4th.
