In Partnership with the Southern Weekend

Faith on Fridays with Sheilah Belle | June 8 – 10

Sheilah Belle catches us up on everything we need to know from the week and what's coming up this weekend.

Hey Everyone, I’m Sheilah Belle “The Belle” and this is Faith on Fridays!

Popular gospel singer Kirk Franklin blasted televangelist Jesse Duplantis after he broadcasted a video asking for donations to buy his ministry another multimillion dollar airplane.  In an Instagram post, the singer-songwriter commented on Duplantis seeking donations to buy a $54 million Falcon 7X private jet. Duplantis already has 3 planes, but the Franklin wrote…”I’m posting this because now that we see, popular culture, stand up to the injustices in mainstream society, I believe the church should do the same for its own as well.”

On a lighter note,  Saturday, june 9, Stone Soul returns to the amphitheater at the Richmond Raceway. Bishop Hezekiah Walker, C Goss,  JJ Hairston, Ne-Yo, Trey Songs, Brandy and so many others will perform.
