Get your free New Year’s Eve ride on the GRTC Pulse if you’re going out to celebrate New Year’s Eve!
The City of Richmond and GRTC are partnering up to encourage safe traveling throughout the night.
“The safety of our citizens is our highest priority, and we are thrilled to offer free Pulse service through GRTC on New Year’s Eve,” said Mayor Levar Stoney. “I encourage all residents and visitors alike to take advantage of this opportunity, leave the driving to others and travel safely wherever their plans take them.”

The free service will only be available of Pulse and runs from 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 until 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Pulse serves a 7.6 mile along Broad and Main streets, from Rocketts Landing to Willow Lawn.
The bus service runs every 10 minutes until 7 p.m., then every 15 minutes until 11:30 p.m. and every 30 minutes until the last stops are made around 1:30 a.m.
