Virginia violinist Eric Stanley aims to make a difference

The Virginia native grew up in Richmond, and later went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University.

Stanley began playing the violin at age 12, going on to join the Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra.

The violinist became a viral sensation after posting videos on social media sites and performing as an opening act for rapper B.o.B.

Stanley gained national attention after performing on ESPN First Take and releasing his first self-titled EP.

The musician regularly visits K-12 schools across the United States, encouraging students to “stay inspired.”
